You will find no less then 20 experienced instructors during any day of the Dutch Race Driver Academy. With a maximum of thirty participants a day, every instructor has two students at most. The lessons are brought to you by the founders of the Dutch Race Driver Academy and international race drivers Dillon Koster (SEAT Leon Supercopa and Langstreckenpokal) and Danny van Dongen (ADAC GT3 Masters).
Dillon Koster Dillon Koster started his motorsport career in 1994 and was announced ‘Rooky of the Year’ in 1996. Two years later Koster won the Michelin Junior Cup and was nominated for “Most Promising Young Talent’ that same year. One year later (1999) the resident of Zandvoort scored podium in the Radio 538 Citroen Saxo Cup three times. He qualified third in the final rankings. Koster prevailed in the following years in the Formula Ford (2002), as well as the Dunlop Sportmaxx Clio Cup (2005). In 2006 he established Certainty Racing Team, which currently runs in five different motorsports series.
Danny van Dongen
Danny van Dongen already accomplished his first success in motorsport at the age of fifteen: in 1998 he finished second in the rankings of the Radio 538 Citroen Saxo Cup. In 2000 Van Dongen won the Citro Saxo Cup once and scored podium four times. He ended the season in third place. A year later, he drove the ‘Zandvoort 500’ with a Marcos Mantis and became second. It turned out to be the key to later success with that car in 2002. In the Dutch Supercar Challenge, he drove to two victories in the GTI class, as well as two triumphs in the Euro GT series. In 2003 Van Dongen became Junior Champion in the Belgian Belcar championship, moving to Spain in 2004 and scoring podium three times in the Spanish GT Championship. In 2006 he successfully appeared in two series; chosen as ‘Rookie of the Year’ in BRL and finishing third in the Belcar Championship.
